Welcome to Ixtapa and the beautiful beachfront Amara Ixtapa resort condominium. 

Amara Ixtapa is the newest condo development in Ixtapa and has the best location: right on the beach in Ixtapa and across the street from shopping, restaurants and clubs; five minutes from Zihuatanejo and twenty minutes from the airport.

This new four plus bedroom, five bath private residence is one of only thirty in the tower and only ninety on the whole complex ensuring a peaceful getaway from crowded hotels and mega condo complexes.  Situated on the third level, it is an easy walk up the steps from the beach, gardens and pools, or use one of two elevators that drop you off right outside your door. It has more than 2200 sq. ft of living space including the full length terrace with walk out access from the living/dining area, and both master suites.

Living/Dining Area

From the moment you enter the condo, you are embraced by the openness of the room and the floor to ceiling windows that bring the outside in.  The doors can be fully opened to the left or right giving the feeling of being nestled within the palms with views to the open ocean.

Tastefully decorated with furniture and décor that compliments the views, the room invites you to relax on one of two full size sofas, and enjoy the sights and sounds of this tropical paradise.  For your entertainment, a 42" plasma TV and home theater system is available.  You can watch satellite TV, put in a DVD (we have a few or bring your own) or CD, or listen to one of the digital satellite music stations.

Free and secure wireless network service is available in the condo and throughout the grounds so you can stay connected with the world while enjoying the paradise of Ixtapa.

Bedroom suites

With four private bedroom suites capable of accommodating up to 9 persons, there is plenty of privacy for everyone in your party.

There are two master suites with king beds, private baths, and floor to ceiling sliding, wall to wall windows providing beautiful ocean views, ocean breezes and the soothing sounds of the waves on the beach. The first master suite has a 32" plasma TV with satellite service and DVD.  The second master has a 22" LCD TV with DVD. The master suites are equipped with high quality linens including luxurious Egyptian cotton towels and 400 plus thread count sheets. All bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers and the showers are equipped with dispensers filled with soap, shampoo and conditioner for your convenience.

The third and fourth bedrooms have town and mountain views. The third bedroom has one queen and one twin bed with a private bath, TV and DVD. The fourth bedroom has one queen bed with its own bath that is also accessible from the living area. All bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning units and ceiling fans for your comfort.

For additional sleeping accommodations, the service quarters has one twin bed and a private bath. This is also where you will find the full size washer and dryer.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with first class stainless appliances and everything you need to prepare a quiet meal at home, if you decide not to take advantage of the dining opportunities just outside your door.  There are utensils and dishes to cover at least two meals before needing to run the dishwasher.  A blender, coffee grinder,  coffee maker, toaster oven and even a large George Foreman grill are available for your convenience.  The quality pots, pans and utensils should satisfy the needs of the cook in your party, or you can hire a cook by the day to shop and prepare your meals for you.

All water in the condo is purified so you can take chilled water and ice from the refrigerator or any tap with confidence.

There are three pools to suit your individual preferences including an adult infinity edge pool, family infinity edge pool and toddler wading pool.  The infinity pools border the beach making it possible to hang on the edge and enjoy the views and people watch.  In the condo you will also find a few floatables, a boogie board and toys for use at the beach and pool

The private beach area has shady palapas and chairs and is right next to a watersports provider who offers jetskis, banana rides and parasailing.  A short walk down the beach, you can get a one hour massage in a shaded hut right on the beach for about $20, or even go swimming with dolphins.

The poolside palapa bar offers very reasonably priced (from $1USD for a beer to $3USD for top-shelf mixed drinks), snacks, shady tables and endless views.

There are also beautifully landscaped gardens with beautiful flowers and palms.

A gym and paddle tennis courts are also available on site.  Tennis courts and discounted golf are also available.

The complex is covered by 24 hour gated security.
